Joomla vs. WordPress
Post by: tom on February 1st, 2007 | File Under WebappsI get more and more requests for several special Apache settings, like: “please turn off Safe-Mode” regarding Joomla. I keep questioning myself what is the big advantage comparing Joomla to WordPress or any other CMS. Any suggestion is appreciated!

WordPress is cool for blogging; Joomla is a CMS.
So WordPress does it’s best to automatically sort Blogs (the latest one first) – not a tree. If you want structured pages and e.g. the first page always on the – eh – first page, WordPress will not help you much.
Blog – Wiki – CMS – Document-Management – everything’s best in it’s place
Cheers!

yaaaaaaaaa .. you’re right
Maybe I was just a little pissed because of so many support requests.. And when using suPHP, a lot of problems seem to be solved -> http://tom.knaupp.com/?p=32
